The Bats of Gunung Mulu

As soon as dusk begins, millions of bats stream out of the caves of Gunung Mulu National Park. One afternoon, I walked to a spot in the middle of the dense rainforest from which to observe the incredible spectacle. As I watched the elaborate swarms, I felt indebted to the animals for their daily hunting action. I had suddenly realized why not a single mosquito had bothered me during those days.
