Cruel Reality

As the fishermen’s nerves peaked, one of the fishermen thrust his harpoon with pinpoint accuracy. The barb at the tip of the harpoon got stuck in the flesh of a marine animal and detached from the bamboo stick, then moved away from the boat with the animal on an attached line. Only when it jumped out of the water did I realize that the caught creature was a dolphin. Shocked, filled with pity and highly impressed at the same moment, I took a photo of the creature fighting for its life at that precise moment and continued to watch intently as the men slowly pulled their prey closer to the boat with great effort.
